Accounts Assistant – 4 day work week

A rarely available opportunity, to study and gain working experience with a 4 day working week, 1 day to study.

A rarely available opportunity to work as an Accounts Assistant, with 1 day (Monday) off to study an accounting qualification. This role will be working 2 days from the office, 2 days from home and 1 day per week to study. This role would suit a candidate with at least 1 years’ experience in finance and studying AAT.

You will have experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable but will be open to continuing to learn other areas of finance.

Duties:

• Posting and allocating supplier invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and answering queries
• Raising sales invoices and distributing to customers
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and matching to accounting software
• Intercompany recharges and invoicing
• Assisting management accountant with month-end reconciliations
• Year-end assistance and help with audit
