      A remote, sole charge credit control position within a growing organisation to own the receivables function in it’s entirety.

      Our client is an entrepreneurial and persistently growing organsation based in Essex, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sole Credit Controller to join their team. As a rapidly growing company, they value innovation and agility and are seeking a talented professional who can manage the credit control and sales ledger functions.

      As a Sole Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, responsible for managing the full credit control function and overseeing the sales ledger. You will have the autonomy to make critical decisions and work independently while collaborating with the finance team.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Managing the full credit control function, including chasing overdue payments, resolving payment disputes, and maintaining accurate records.
      • Overseeing the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are issued promptly and accurately.
      • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and resolve any payment issues.
      • Conducting credit checks on new customers and assessing credit risk.
      • Preparing regular reports and updates on credit control activities.
      • Collaborating with the finance team to improve credit control processes and procedures.
      • Work with operations to keep and build relationships with customers.

      Requirements:

      • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit control or a related finance role.
      • Experience with SalesForce or Xero is preferred (but not essential).
      • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
      • Excellent attention to detail.
      • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
      • Strong problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

      Benefits:
