      A market leading retail business based in Watford are looking for a self motivated and ambitious Finance Analyst to join their friendly team.

      The main objective of the role is to deliver financial analysis, reporting and ad-hoc financial support and to help develop and deliver an efficient month end process.

      Main responsibilities for the Finance Analyst will be:

      • Management accounting including accruals & prepayments, balance sheet recs, generation of P&Ls, variance analysis and commentary
      • Supporting the forecasting, budgeting and planning activities and ensuring that targets are met and variances understood
      • Commentary at month end and for forecasts & budgets
      • Weekly flash reporting
      • Risk and opportunities tracking

      You will:

      • Be of Graduate calibre and studying towards a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA
      • Be keen to work in a fast paced environment
      • Have strong Excel skills
      • Be hard working with the ability to think outside the box
