Finance Director for a high-growth hospitality group
Absolute are delighted to be partnered with a high-growth hospitality group in their search for a commercially minded Finance Director. The company has achieved 400% growth in the last 4 years with ambitious plans for the next 5 years, which this role will be instrumental in delivering.
This role will work closely with the CEO of the group and will act as a strong advisor on all financial matters and business strategies. A background in complex group structures or multi-site organisations would be highly desirable given the nature of the business and its future plans.
The Role:
- Overall responsibility for the financial strategy of the group, discussing ‘what if’ scenarios and business cases when looking to make acquisitions
- Building robust processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting including statutory, management, group and regulatory reports
- Continually developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Detailed analysis and presentations of financial positioning to key stakeholders and board members
- Managing external relationships; Auditors, Banks, Insurance providers, IT services
- Leading negotiations on any lending/funding requirements
- Maintaining cost control, continually looking for opportunities to save on costs
- Tracking new acquisitions and reporting on forecasts
- Identifying any areas that require improvement and implementing necessary processes
- Leading on new ERP system implementation
- Continually driving the growth of the group and identifying potential opportunities
Requirements:
- Ideally having worked within a multi-site hospitality business, or a group structure with multiple entities
- Strong commercial acumen, key examples of business strategy and outomes
- Excellent leadership skills
- Easily commutable to East London
