I am recruiting for a Finance Manager position for a large business based in Herts.
The role of Finance Manager will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) report into the Head of Finance and support the the group finance to team to provide accurate and timely reports.
This role will require someone with strong reporting experience, have examples of where you have improved processes and possess excellent communication skills.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Take the lead in executing R2R process enhancement projects, offering a chance to make a lasting impact on the business.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to refine reporting processes, controls, and systems.
- Oversee the month-end reconciliation of balance sheets and control accounts across the Group.
- Contribute to the preparation of timely and relevant financial reports for the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team, facilitating a balanced and objective evaluation of the Group’s strategy and goals.
- Ensure the delivery of insightful and accurate variance analysis each month, aiding stakeholders in gaining a clearer understanding of business performance.
- Responsibility to manage two accountants.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls to ensure adherence to the Group’s accounting policies.
- Support the external audit process and year-end procedures by addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.
