Financial Accountant

We are recruiting an ambitious qualified Accountant to join the finance team of an acquisitive multi-site business in the hospitality sector. With a group turnover in excess of £150m, this role will be responsible for the financial reporting for various entities and supporting with the group consolidation.

This opportunity is reporting to the Group Reporting Manager and will have exposure to senior stakeholders across the group. The company have a flexible working culture and operates a hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation on statutory accounts for multiple entities and assist with the group consolidation
• Liaise with auditors and assist with the annual audit process
• Managing the general ledger and intercompany transactions
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Tax compliance and reporting, liaising with external advisers
• Maintain the fixed asset registers
• Assist with treasury, cashflow management and covenant reporting
• Supporting with ad hoc projects / tasks

Desirable Skills:

• Qualified Accountant – ACCA / ACA or equivalent
• Technical accountant with strong financial reporting experience
• Good interpersonal skills and experienced in business partnering with other departments
