Absolute is recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to manage and oversee all aspects of our clients financial operations during a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, reporting, and analysis and be able to hit the ground running. This role requires a technically strong FC who can provide leadership and guidance to our finance team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and management reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure funds availability, including monitoring and managing working capital.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and coordinate external audits and tax filings.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, controls, and efficiency.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, with proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar position.
- Experience in managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Professional contractor who is agile and use to hitting the ground running.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, experiencing high levels of growth and change.
