Interim Finance Manager

Are you an immediately available qualified accountant looking to work in a growing fintech (digital banking) business in Central London? 

We are looking for a interim Finance manager to join the business on a 6 month. The role will work alongside the CFO and help to build and create a robust finance function. 

This is a great opportunity to join an ethical finance business with some exciting investors. Whilst only a contract,  this role will give someone an opportunity to shape the finance function and play a critical role in the business growth trajectory. 

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): 

• Month end financial reporting (including develop & improving existing reports)
• Developing the Boardpack for both financial and non-financial information 
• Assist the CFO with forecasting, budgeting and long-term strategic planning
• Preparation for FCA EM reporting 
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Drive process improvements, controls and policies to allow for best practice.
• Train and mentor the finance assistant. 

To be considered for this role you must be/have: 

• Ability to start immediately
• Qualified with a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). 
• Previous experience in digital banking or fintech (desirable)
• Experience working in a scaling or start-up environment (desirable)
• Pro-active and positive attitude

The opportunity will offer hybrid working (3 days a week in the office)

The role will be able to operate outside IR35 and can offer between £350-400 or can be taken as a FTC at circa.£70-75,000
