      JavaScript Engineer
      £65,000 – £75,000 (+ share options)
London / Hybrid (3 days WFH)

A disruptive banking fintech in Central London are hiring a JavaScript Engineer who will be integral in their next project to take their product from MVP to a self-serving, scalable product. You will be working alongside their CTO, an experienced Engineering Lead who has experience working in globally recognised brands and high-growth scale-ups. The business builds cutting-edge banking solutions, with their flagship product allowing businesses to get the most from their funds.

As a member of their team, you will have a range of benefits that prioritise your well-being and work-life balance. These benefits include unlimited holiday, a hybrid working model, a shorter working week, a gym membership, and a generous training budget to support your professional development.

The successful JavaScript Engineer will have the following attributes:

      • 3+ years’ experience working as a Software Engineer commercially.
      • A good understanding of Full Stack JavaScript (TypeScript) development.
      • Experience working with front-end development tools (React.js / Next.js).
      • Experience working with Node.js for server-side development.
      • An understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
      • An ability to set-up infrastructure and deploy code using CI/CD tools.
      • An understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
      • An understanding of Open Banking/FinTech products is highly desirable.

As the business is building high-quality products, with the current MVP being bug-free, the successful candidate will be an individual who prides themselves on writing well-tested and production-ready code. Candidates from an Open Banking/FinTech background will be prioritised, though individuals without this experience will still be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Key skills include: Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, Node.js, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Git, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, NodeJS, API Development, etc.
