      Position Overview:
      As the Sales Order Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 SOP clerks and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of sales orders. This role is located in Welwyn Garden City and offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, along with a hybrid working arrangement to provide flexibility.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of SOP clerks to meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.
      • Sales Order Processing: Manage complex sales orders, including international exports, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
      • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales order processing procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
      • Communication: Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve order-related inquiries, ensuring exceptional service.
      • Reporting: Generate and analyse sales order reports to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
      • Documentation: Ensure all sales order documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations.

      Qualifications and Experience:

      • Proven experience in a Sales Order Manager or similar role.
      • Strong knowledge of sales order processing, with experience in complex sales orders, including international exports.
      • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
      • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Microsoft Excel).
      • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
