      £60,000 – £65,000
      Remote/Hybrid (1-2 days on site in Cambridgeshire per month)

      We are supporting a global sustainable solutions and product provider who are in the process of undergoing enterprise-level implementations and greenfield product builds. They are hiring a Senior .NET Developer who will be involved in the greenfield build of bespoke products, and be part of their 5-year programme of work for an enterprise-scale ERP implementation.
       
      The role reports to the Head of Technology and offers a route to a management/lead role as the team presently is comprised of 6 engineers, with plans to continuously scale their development function. The business operates from their office in Cambridgeshire, and offer flexible remote working (with on-site meetings occurring 1-2 times a month).       The successful Senior .NET Developer will have the following attributes:

      • A strong understanding of C# and .NET (Core/Framework).
      • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AIS, Data Factory, Service Bus, Storage, etc.).
      • A good understanding of modern development practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, etc.
      • A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
      • An understanding of databases such as Cosmos DB and/or SQL.
      • Experience working with messaging tools such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar.
      • Experienced working with React is desirable, though not essential.
      • Experience mentoring/leading more junior members of the engineering team is highly desirable.

      The Senior .NET Developer will report to the Head of Technology, with this position being recognised as one of the senior engineering experts in the organisation.
