      Are you an experienced payroller looking for a challenging and rewarding contract position? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroller to join a dynamic team based in St Albans. This is a 6-month contract role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing payroll processes from start to finish.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Complete Payroll Management: Handle end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 700 employees on a monthly basis.
      • Collaboration: Work closely with an external payroll bureau to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
      • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within the payroll team to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
      • Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities comply with relevant legislation and company policies.
      • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve payroll queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
      • Reporting: Generate and review payroll reports to support financial and operational planning.

      Requirements:

      • Experience: Proven experience in a senior payroll position, managing start-to-finish payroll for a large employee base.
      • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
      • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all payroll activities.
      • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and external partners.
      • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
