      A Luxury Retail business are looking for a Permanent Accounts Payable Assistant on a full time basis.

      We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant for a Luxury Retail business, based in Central London. This is a full time, permanent position working closely with the Finance Director. 

      As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for the day to day AP function including high volume, multi currency invoice processing, purchase orders and managing payments. You will also act as an integral part of the Finance team ensuring a smooth transactional process between company and customer and being the main point of contact for queries. 

      The role is offered on a hybrid basis with the expectation of 3 days in the office per week. 

      Key responsibilities: 

      • Accounts Payable invoice processing (GBP, EUR, USD) 
      • General maintenance of the AP ledger 
      • Carrying out payment runs and investigating payment queries
      • Preparing of monthly bank reconciliations
      • Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received.
      • Reconciling monthly expenses
      • Assist with any ad hoc requests

      Key skills: 

      • Previous experience working within Accounts Payable with a strong knowledge of invoice processing, purchase orders and expenses 
      • Minimum of 1-2 years finance experience
      • A background in Retail/Luxury Retail would be advantageous 
      • IT proficient with a good understanding of MS Excel 
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
      • Highly organised and ability to manage a busy workload 
      • Discreet office manners and professional etiquette
      • A great team player with a collaborative work approach
