      The Role:
      We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Group Management Accountant to join a growing and strengthening finance team. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for producing group management accounts for 9 entities. You will work closely with two Management Accountants who are currently studying, providing guidance and support to aid their professional development.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Prepare and produce group management accounts for 9 entities
      • Oversee the month-end close process, striving to improve and reduce the close period
      • Assist with the implementation of a new financial system
      • Offer ideas to improve processes and reduce month-end close.
      • Drive change management initiatives to enhance reporting and financial performance
      • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management
      • Support and mentor two Management Accountants in their professional studies
      • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations

      Requirements:

      • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
      • Extensive experience in management accounting, preferably in a group context
      • Proven track record of successful change management and system implementation
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
      • Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
