      We are seeking a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our client in Berkhamsted. If you have a passion for producing comprehensive management accounts, leading a team, and driving process improvements, we want to hear from you!

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Produce Management Accounts: Prepare detailed management accounts for a group of companies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations.
      • Oversee Junior Team Member: Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to a junior member of the accounting team, fostering their professional growth and development.
      • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiency.
      • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
      • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and providing variance analysis.
      • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
      • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.

      Qualifications and Skills:

      • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
      • Experience: Proven experience in a management accounting role, preferably within a group of companies.
      • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members effectively.
      • Analytical: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
      • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
      • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
      • Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
